11/29/2009: Bantams Sweep Thanksgiving Tournament for Gold in Warwick PA

The Bantams entered the Warwick PA tournament as the only NJ team, with the other 3 teams hailing from Pennsylvania.

On Saturday, Nov 28^th, the Randolph Rams started the tournament off strong with a 6-2 win over Wissahickon in the morning, followed by another 6-2 win over the Philadelphia Revolution in the afternoon. The next morning, the Rams got off to a slow start against Bryn Athyn, but rebounded with a 9-2 win, placing them as the top seed for the finals.

The championship game was played in the afternoon of Nov 29^th against  a very tough and physical Philadelphia Revolution team. Skating with only 8 forwards and 4 defensemen, the Rams were able to gain a 2-0 lead, and retain that lead as the final score, winning the tournament. Congratulations to all the players on a very successful hockey weekend !
